The HiOx® Messner® is an efficient fine bubble diffuser. We use high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting, superior performance in nearly any wastewater medium. The fine bubble diffuser uses a frame and support base of 316 stainless steel to support a TPU polyurethane membrane. This high-strength membrane provides a longer operational life than other commonly used materials. In fact, Parkson has installed multiple fine bubble aeration systems that have continuous service for over 15 years!
The product produces an ultrafine bubble to transfer oxygen efficiently from compressed atmospheric air into activated sludge aeration systems. The large surface and rectangular shape provide the capability to maximize the diffuser area, enhancing bubble contact and oxygen transfer efficiency. High quality polyethylene air piping and fittings provide reliable air supply and ease of installation. Air is easily controlled to individual or groups of panels for flexibility and ease of operation. All of these features, combined with Parkson’s design experience and service, provide our customers with maximum value.
Our fine bubble diffuser is capable of a wide range of airflows from 0.5 to 3.0 SCFM/ft2. This flexibility allows the air supply to the basin to be adjusted from minimum mixing limits to maximum daily air requirements. Each aeration panel can be mounted directly to the basin floor to maximize depth, thus maximizing oxygen transfer efficiency and minimizing airflow requirements. Just one HiOx Messner aeration panel replaces approximately 30 of the 9-inch membrane disk diffusers. This provides a significant advantage in both installation and maintenance requirements. The panels can typically be installed in existing aeration basins and oxidation ditches, increasing the capacity over the existing equipment with no need for additional basin construction.
Given Parkson’s significant experience providing complete process systems using our Biolac® Treatment System and EcoCycle SBR™ systems, we have the resources and capabilities to provide control systems for dissolved oxygen control, automatic flexing of the fine bubble diffusers, and even intermittent operation for nitrification and denitrification within a single basin. We can also provide options for removal and reinstallation of the HiOx Messner panels without dewatering the aeration basin.
